With a network of 249 km's of double tracks, Melbourne's Yarra Trams is the third largest tram network in the world. In 2006 Yarra Trams celebrated 100 years of electric trams. As an iconic symbol of Melbourne trams play an integral role in the public transportation system and in the daily lives of Melbournians. This relationship between the two has seen a shift with the transformation of Yarra Trams. In amidst the historic changes and evolvements of Yarra Trams, Nuno provides an observant and a intimate glimpse of a social activity that is part of the identity of this city. Tramming is a poetic essay on commuters, Yarra Trams and their journey on Melbourne's tramways.
