Conceived and pitched to Vogue Portugal for its Dare to Be Bold issue, Tears in Rain draws on the visual and emotional world of Blade Runner to explore the relationship between fashion, beauty and cinema.

Fashion figures, hand-drawin in pencil, wearing couture from Maison Margiela, Chanel, Schiaparelli, Balenciaga, Armani Privé, Peet Dullaert, Stéphane Rolland, Francesco Scognamiglio, and Ashi Studio are set against full-colour gouache cityscapes inspired by the visionary work of production designer and futurist Syd Mead.

The contrast between the intimacy of the hand-drawn figure and the scale of the imagined city creates a visual dialogue between the human and the imagined.
